We hereby announce that Trans Genic Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “us”) on September 8, 2008 concluded a distribution agreement with Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd. (headquarters: Osaka, Japan, President: Hajime Ikezoe, hereinafter referred to as “Wako Pure Chemical Industries”) regarding products of ProteinTech Group, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “ProteinTech”) distributed by us.

We started distributing ProteinTech’s products in Japan on September 8, 2008, based on an exclusive marketing agreement concluded with ProteinTech on May 26, 2008.

We will make full use of our distribution networks with major distributors which have been established in our antibody business, in order to promote sales and quick delivery of ProteinTech's products.

Wako Pure Chemical Industries is due to sell ProteinTech's products in addition to ours in accordance with the agreement concluded on September 8, 2008. We and Wako Pure Chemical Industries will further cooperate to expand sales of ProteinTech's products in the Japanese market.
