2. Reason for Revision

As announced in a separate press release issued today, we decided to include our affiliated company, Kajitsudo Co., Ltd (headquartered in Kumamoto, Japan, CEO: Tsuyoshi Ide, hereinafter referred to as "Kajitsudo"), in the scope of consolidation based on effective control standards as of June 26, 2009. In accordance with this, we revised up our consolidated net sales forecast for the year ending March 2010. Kajitsudo's business performance for the year ending March 2010 is expected to improve significantly compared to the previous year due to increase in sales and decrease in expenses. Therefore, we revised only net sales forecast and did not revise operating and ordinary income forecasts.
TRANS GENIC's non-consolidated earnings forecast for the year ending March 2010 remains unchanged.
