The plasmid contains mutant human diphtheria toxin receptor cDNA.
Expression vector can be constructed by the insertion of promoter of your interest into upstream of the mutant human diphtheria toxin receptor sequence.
Administration of diphtheria toxin into a transgenic mouse generated with this expression vector cause the death of cells which express diphtheria toxin receptor in living.
